Production Company Audience
Welcome blogger readers to my 13th blog post entry! Today I will discuss how my choice of film production for my final project's film opening audience.
Large film production companies such as Ghost House Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Blumhouse Productions, Lionsgate Films, Dimension Films, AS4, Hammer Film Productions, Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, and Universal Pictures have participated in the production of successful horror films.
Each of these companies attracts a broad audience to their movies.
For instance, with the success of the movies' A Star is Born' and 'Aquaman,' Warner Bros. received $5.6 billion in ticket sales.
Working with these well-known will already attract audiences. However, the movie's storyline and targeted audiences will also play a significant role in attraction.
My final project's short film opening's storyline is relatable and realistic to nearly all audiences. There are not any specified cliches within the film.
My ideal primary film production is Universal Studios. Universal Studios is already the largest film production company ever to exist. Universal Studios is versatile; they have touched genres varying from the action, suspense, horror, adventure, comedy, thriller, and drama. Also, the Universal Studios film production company has one of the highest marketing and profit. Just announcing that they are producing my movie would already attract a large audience.
Not only my choice of the short film opening's production companies would attract an audience, but the genre and storyline would too. The horror genre has a notable audience and is one of the most-watched film genres in the film and production industry. Also, the horror genre is one of the most entertaining film genres. Studies have shown that those who score high regarding this trait show an increased liking of horror films, and personality tests reveal that those who are bored easily often score higher than others on a trait called "sensation seeking."
