Production Companies

Hello Blogger Readers! Welcome to my 11th final film project blogger entry. 

Today I will discuss some production companies that specialize in films similar to my own and some ideal choices of my film's production. 

Popular film production companies such as Ghost House Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Blumhouse Productions, Lionsgate Films, Dimension Films, AS4, Hammer Film Productions, Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, and Universal Pictures have participated in the production of horror films. 

Most of these companies have produced iconic horror movies that set the bar for the horror genre in general. 

For instance, the films Happy Death Day and Happy Death Day 2U were produced by Blumhouse Productions. Happy Death Day is one of many inspirations for my final project's short film.  

My short film is similar to Happy Death Day because they both involve characters who live an average everyday life but encounter an irregular and unavoidable situation. Each unexpected event throughout the film all relate and link to one another. 

Another example of a production company specializing in films is Dimension Films, and one of their many iconic movies, Scary Movie. 

Scary movie is an iconic movie itself and increased the bar for spoof horror/comedy movies. 

I believe production companies such as A24, Blumhouse Productions, Dimension Films, and Ghost House Pictures would be interested in my pitch for my final project's short film opening. I believe my movie will be a hit with the right timing, production, marketing, and sequences. The year 2020 has already influenced innumerable people, and society has still managed to make jokes out of these unexpected, unavoidable, and iconic events. 

Therefore, an ideal movie including notable events such as the political debate, the global pandemic, protests, the president's repeated impeachment trial, award ceremonies, and royal family drama could become successful and iconic.
