Final Project Proposal
Welcome blogger readers to my 7th blog post entry!
Today I will discuss topics such as; my film opening's title, the AICE Media Studies component, our assessment objective the genre and film opening falls under, and participating group members who will contribute to this final project.
My final film production project will be a film opening task titled 'Beware of the 20'. This film opening project will explore and display the vital events of the year 2020 overall. Significant events will divide into horror or comedy. For instance, events such as the political debate, the global pandemic, and movements for racial injustice will significantly impact this final film opening project.
In terms of the AICE Media Studies syllabus, this project will fall under Component 1: Foundation Portfolio. It will fulfill Assessment Objectives 2 and 3. Assessment objective 2 analyzes media products and includes evaluating original work by employing knowledge and understanding of theoretical and creative strategies. Assessment objective three pieces of research, plans, and constructs critically informed media products utilizing appropriate technical and creative skills.
I plan to utilize the internet and analog sources to research the horror and comedy genre and its elements, actors and actresses within horror and comedy, and various production methods for the genre and this project. I will read and analyze numerous academic papers, film interviews with filmmakers, film analyses, shot-by-shot analyses, etc., in addition to watching films in the relevant genres.
Since this is a group project, I will also operate with Gianfranco P, Leea F, and Jadha S. We all intend to contribute 100% of our efforts to produce this film-opening project organized sufficient, entertaining, and conventional. Each member will complete their assigned roles and assignments to construct and finalize this film opening final project.
