A-ha Moments and Experiences

What's up, blogger entry readers! Welcome to my 33rd blogger entry post for my final project! Today I will discuss A-Ha moments and learning experiences I had during the production process of this final project film opening.

Throughout this weekend, I was finally able to meet up with most of my group members and record some of the scenes for our film opening. We all plan to record as much as we could to hurry the process of filming production. We changed the meeting location from the park to my house because it was easier for everyone to access.

Since our film opening has various environments, we decided to change some of the script and scene locations.

Our first out of many 'ah-ha' moments or learning experiences realized that we do not need an animated background for the film opening. Instead, we can adjust the camera to the character's frame. In the beginning, we were worried because we didn't have any essential props for most scenes, and not everything came out as we wanted it to be.

Our second 'ah-ha' moment was realizing that I can use my sister's recording microphone for audio instead of using an iPhone. At first, I was worried because the camera I used to record does not capture the audio as I desired. Therefore, I utilized my sister's microphone. When we were preparing the camera and seeing my sister was preparing the microphone and her audio recording equipment. This learning experience helped benefit the film opening and the audio system.

Our ultimate learning experience was the not everything would make it to the final film opening recording. Ultimately, we understood that some scenes and clips needed to be cut out of the opening for our benefit.

Overall, my group and I had many ups and downs while recording this weekend, but I believe this film opening will become a masterpiece in the long run.
