Learning About Production

Hello and welcome Blogger entry readers! Welcome to my 28th blogger entry post for my final film opening project. Today I will be answering the question of what I learned using production technologies such as cameras, lights, (etc.)

For stage four of production, we are required to meet up and film our film opening. The technology we used to record with my Kodak photographer's camera, an iPhone, and a tripod. When we record together, we will be using all three pieces of technology. Our reasoning for using all three components is that the Kodak photographer's camera will be great for visuals. The iPhone will be great for audio, and the tripod will stabilize the phone and camera.

While filming my scenes, I learned that lighting is sophisticated. The lighting has to be just right, and there are certain moments when you have to stop filming because the resolution doesn't include much clarity. It was also frustrating to avoid background noise within my surroundings because everyone was working on their own thing. There were moments when I became frustrated because I couldn't record my scene due to distractions and ongoing interruptions.

Since we recorded our first couple of scenes separately, I am unsure how my group's film opening recording session went. I hope they were able to record their scenes successfully before we meet up at the park. I am also unsure what they learned during the stage 4 film production, but we all plan to share our recordings to edit all clips together and begin forming our official two-minute film opening.

Hopefully, we can meet up this upcoming Saturday and record all essential scenes and components for the final project film opening. I want to get as much as possible recorded so we can hurry up and finish this project.
