Filming Locations

Hello and welcome blogger readers! This blog is my 16th blogger entry for my final film opening project. Today I will discuss filming locations and why I have specified locations.

For my final film opening project, our primary settings will occur in a news station room, a street crowded with racial injustice protestors, outside of a hospital, and a political debate arena.

The first occurring scene in the film opening will be in a news station full of reporters, cameramen/women, assistants, (etc...). One of the four main characters is a news reporter and is at her desk informing not only the viewers about current events, but this sets the tone for the film opening and introduces the audience to primary characters/events in this film.

The second primary setting is still in the first scene/portion of the film opening. It is the second out of the four main characters who is also a news reporter, but they are standing and reporting outside of a hospital discussing one of the film's primary events. The third setting is back to a busy news station with another newly introduced reporter month later. The third out of the fourth character discusses one of the few significant events to the film's opening. This scene introduces the film's audience to what is happening in that time frame of 2020 and sets the tone.

Our last fourth main character is in this same scene, but they are positioned in another location. This location is a street filled with racial injustice protestor and law enforcement. The reporter displays what is currently happening in this time frame of 2020.

The last scene and film location are in a political debate arena. There are three familiar actors/actresses in this scene, yet they play another role of a character. The arena is empty due to a significant event throughout the film. Two characters on the arena's stage are standing behind podiums. Lastly, the last character is sitting behind a desk facing the stage.
