Location and Scouting Process
Hello and welcome blogger entry readers! Welcome to my 23rd blogger entry post. Today I will discuss my group and I's location and scouting process and decisions.
My group and I have created a filming schedule to organize and plan our stage of filming production. We all decided to meet up on Saturday and film all scenes that include all characters in one frame. However, whenever we aren't together filming the opening, we will record the scenes that contain only one character and edit them into the final project two-minute film opening.
Our media studies teacher recommends all group members to be in school to film this project. She believes it would be easier for our group. However, due to COVID-19 and social distancing rules, not all of us agree with that suggestion.
For instance, one of my group members, Gianfranco Perez, is having some trouble with our intentions of meeting up and filming. Due to the pandemic, his parents don't believe that he should go into the public unless it is for mandatory school testing matters. So, our teacher heard of our minor situation, and she suggested that he record the scenes with only his character and edit his recording into the final project film opening.
Therefore, we have concluded that we will meet up and film instead because we control our timing, the number of people involved, and the surroundings' management.
For this final project two-minute film opening, we decided to meet up around 2:00 0r 2:30 pm. We selected a park within our ranging to record all possible scenes. However, it will be slightly challenging to record some scenes due to their background setting. We plan to record as many scenes as possible because we already have similar narratives for the film opening, and we have our script already prepared.
