Casting Considerations and Considerations

Greetings, blogger entry readers! Welcome to my 24th film opening project blogger entry. Today I will discuss the film opening's casting considerations and choices.

My group and I haven't gone into depth about our casting choices, but I would like to keep our casting as limited as possible because of the global pandemic. Each of the group members will undoubtedly be in the two-minute film opening.

Also, it might be challenging to film and cast additional people due to COVID-19.

For instance, one of my group members, Gianfranco Perez, is having some trouble with our intentions of meeting up and filming. Due to the pandemic, his parents don't believe that he should go into the public unless mandatory school testing matters. So, our teacher heard of our minor situation, and she suggested that he record the scenes with only his character and edit his recording into the final project film opening.

I am uncertain about how we will cast members for our scenes of protesters while Gianfranco plays as a reporter and discusses the racial injustice protests and riots. We need several people to play as protestors, civilians, and law enforcement officers and officials. Also, we will have to use props, costumes&design, and makeup to produce the scene. Some people will play as the protestors and yell "BLACK LIVES MATTER" while holding props and speaking into a megaphone. Three other cast members will play as law enforcement officers and stand around the protesters to ensure nothing goes out of place. And lastly, some cast members will play as ordinary civilians passing by viewing the racial injustice movement.

I am nervous yet excited about how our final film opening project will turn out. I believe my group members and I are prepared to start stage 4 of film production, and as long as we stick to the script and stay on schedule, we can finish this quickly.
