Production and Filming Schedule
Hey, my fellow blogger entry readers! Welcome to my 26th blogger entry post. Today I will discuss the production and filming schedule for the final project film opening.
We are now entering stage 4 of production for our film opening. Stage 4 includes filming, editing, casting, and scheduling. My group and I have already completed our film script, storyboard, and schedule to organize and vision the film as much as possible.
We all agreed to try to meet up on Saturdays around 2:00-2:30 pm at a park within our range. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it will be challenging to meet up and film together. And possibly not all group members will be able to meet up and record our scenes together. One group member might not meet up often because his parents are uncomfortable letting them go out in public. Also, none of us group members are attending school. Therefore, we have concluded to record some scenes that only include one specific character at home, then edit the recording into the two-minute film opening. We might have to practice that option for all individual scenes so we can take precautions.
The only scene that would require all group members is our last scene. This scene is a political debate with Gianfranco Perez, Leea Fils, and me, but Jadha Sunderland will be recording the scene. This scene could be recorded in a day if we follow the script and stay on schedule.
I am not sure how long the scene will take to record, depending on what time everyone arrives and how long it will take to set up all technical elements of the short film opening.
In conclusion, our filming and production shouldn't take long. We have all scenes prepared on our storyboard and script. The scheduling should help keep us on track of time.
