Difficulties Encountered During Production
Bonjour, blogger readers! Welcome to my 32nd blogger entry post for my final project.
Today I will discuss the difficulties and obstacles I encountered while in the production process.
Before we began to record, my group and I already faced the issue of us being behind. We couldn't commence the production process because of COVID-19, and one of my group members wasn't permitted to travel outside their house. I couldn't compose any of my blog entries because we were behind, and they all concerned topics the production process. It was onerous for our group to see each other and record because of school, lack of transportation, and after-school activities. However, we subsequently agreed to gather up this weekend and begin to record scenes.
Now onto the challenges during the production.
First, we had to change some scenes' location and setting because it wouldn't be possible or manageable to record in certain areas that the scene required. Instead of recording at a nearby park, we all agreed to meet up at my house instead.
Next, one of the problems was our characters in our actors/actresses. Since one of our group members couldn't film anymore, my group member Jadha had to fill in for both of his characters. And it was a little hard for her because she had to impersonate three different characters within the opening, and she had innumerable lines to remember from the script.
Then, it was time to record, and my group member Leea was camera shy and softly spoken. My camera doesn't produce the most reliable audio, so we use my sister's microphone equipment to understand the recording better. Leea had difficulty memorizing her lines, and I had to stop our recordings from helping her ascertain the script. Once that was finished, there were predicaments with the microphone because it turned on and off.
Finally, we overcame all of those onerous obstacles and captured a scene for the film opening.
